Jesus was a Trans Eunuch
- There are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb … and there are some eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
So disciples who could accept castration, should do so. But why? Sarism, as it is called, was unusual but acceptable within Judaism—as Isaiah 56.3 accepts eunuchs as a special category, perhaps within a monastic community like the Essene at Qumran. (ie: for the Kingdom of Heaven’s sake, to study the Torah and the Law.)
Jesus’ request for the disciples to castrate themselves also makes sense, because the Galli-Galilean sect of 1st century Judea were famed for having trans eunuch priests. And yet Jesus was said to be a Galilean in Luke 23:6—so he was linked to this very same sect. The 1st century historian Josephus Flavius says of these Trans Galilean’s military actions during the Jewish Revolt:
- The Galileans […] indulged themselves in feminine wantonness […] they decked their hair and put on women’s garments. […] They had paints under their eyes, and imitated not only the ornaments, but also the lusts of women […] (But) while their faces looked like the faces of women, they killed with their right hands; and while their gait was effeminate, they attacked men and became warriors, and drew their swords from under their finely dyed cloaks, and ran every body through whom they alighted upon. -Josephus, War 4:9:10.
Imagine the enemy’s surprise.
As for the disciples being armed, do remember that Jesus told his disciples to buy swords in Luke 22:36-38, and I have identified Jesus as a leader of the Jewish Revolt. Galli-Galileans like Jesus and Peter also used these swords to castrate themselves at a great festival, where future priests were required to perform the deed on themselves. Lucian says of these festivals:
- On these days men become Galli (Galileans). While some are playing flutes and performing the rites, a frenzy comes upon many […] (he) throws off his clothes, rushes to the center with a great shout, takes up a sword […] and castrates himself. Then he rushes through the city holding his testicles in his hands. He takes female clothing and women’s adornment from whatever house he throws these testicles into. - Lucian, De Dea Syria 50-53
Note that the self-flagellation and drawing of blood by Jesus’ Galli-Galileans, as further described by Lucian, is still practiced today by some sects of Islam at the Festival of Ashura. Pictures of these bIoody scenes can be seen on the web—but if you object to these practices at the Ashura festival and post any images, you will get banned from YouTube and Facebook. No criticism is allowed of Islamic oddities—been there, done that.
Thus Jesus’ Galli-Galileans became testicle-tossers, to join the priesthood and to become keepers of the sacred Elagabal stone (often known as the Grail). This important role of ‘keeper of the stone’ may well be why Simon—Jesus’ principle disciple—was called Peter-Kephas meaning ’Stone Stone’. He was a keeper of the Grail, who were known as the Budha in Edessa.
We may even have a record of this castration ceremony in the gospels, where Jesus was holding a meeting on the Mount of Olives that was interrupted by the Roman guard. However, as Jesus was being arrested:
- (There was) a certain young man having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the soldiers laid hold on him. But he left the linen cloth and fled from them naked. - Mark 14:51
The gospels do not explain why there was a naked man at this gathering of disciples. But since Jesus had already asked his disciples to castrate themselves, we can be reasonably certain that this was a castration ceremony, to initiate a new Galli-Galilean priest.
So yes, long before Trans became popular in recent years, there were Trans cults in the Near East led by the biblical Jesus and James. And there still are Trans cult is India to this day, with the Hijra fraternity. Many of the Hijra have a penectomy as well as castration, yet this is actually what St Paul suggested the disciples should do in Galatians 5:12. (Note that Saul-Paul did not agree with circumcision, let alone castration.)
As you can see, the Jewish gospels are much more interesting than you ever imagined…!
