The Schizophrenic Nature and Character of God

Bild
In this article we will discuss what the Bible has to say about its contradictory things—The Schizophrenic Nature and Character of God.  You'd think the Bible could at least get that right, right? Well, guess what... That's not true either. It constantly sends contradictory messages about the nature and character of God. As I said, there is no exception to the rule, and the teachings reads in the Bible will result in contradictory messages. One can't say anything with certainty. Bible believers would insist that you can —but only when u read it with tunnel vision—if you just focus on what you like and what you want the bible to teach—you'll find stuff in there that will support that and you will have to ignore all the other things that contradict that, and thats all bible believers ever do.  Is God Omniscient? The Bible portrays Yahweh as being all-knowing (or omniscient). Nothing, it is claimed, can avoid his notice: “…for God…knows all things.” - 1 John 3:20.  “But th...

Henotheism in the Hebrew Bible—One God or many?

Bild
Most people assume that the question of monotheism versus polytheism in the Bible was never open for debate—that the Bible consistently always taught that there is only one god, period. And certainly that is what we find in the New Testament, along with much of the Old Testament. However, upon closer inspection we discover that such was not always the case in the Old Testament. Here we see that a belief called henotheism was once in place, which was later replaced by strict monotheism. Henotheism is the idea that there is a plurality of gods, with one reigning supreme above all the rest. As will now be demonstrated, this concept was indeed embraced early on by the Hebrews. In Exodus 20:3 we encounter Yahweh commanding: “Thou shalt not have any gods before me.” Here the great Yahweh is himself acknowledging the existence of other gods. He did not say, “Don’t worship any of those other fake gods, because I am the only real one.” He simply said to only worship himself, and not the others...

Jesus was a Trans Eunuch

Bild
That Jesus was Trans might sound like a wild claim, but this is what the original texts say. This is why Jesus asked his disciples to castrate themselves in Matthew 19:12: There are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb … and there are some eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it. So disciples who could accept castration, should do so. But why? Sarism, as it is called, was unusual but acceptable within Judaism—as Isaiah 56.3 accepts eunuchs as a special category, perhaps within a monastic community like the Essene at Qumran. (ie: for the Kingdom of Heaven’s sake, to study the Torah and the Law.) Jesus’ request for the disciples to castrate themselves also makes sense, because the Galli-Galilean sect of 1st century Judea were famed for having trans eunuch priests. And yet Jesus was said to be a Galilean in Luke 23:6—so he was linked to this very same sect. The 1st century historian J...

Plagiarism in the New Testament (Part 2)

Mystery religions are those which keep certain teachings hidden from the masses, revealing these secrets only to an initiated few. Such religions are also known as esoteric (or occult), and they usually involve the practice of magic in one form or another. We have just seen that the Bible wholeheartedly sanctions magic (as long as it is done within Yahweh’s parameters, and with his blessing). So why should we not expect the Bible to also sanction esotericism?  Disappointment shall not beset us with such an expectation, for the Bible makes frequent references to the fact that it contains “mystery” teachings, particularly in the New Testament: “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery , even the hidden wisdom , which God ordained before the world unto our glory.” - 1 Corinthians 2:7.  “Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.” - 1 Corinthians 4:1.  “How that by revelation he [Christ] made known unto me [Paul] the my...
